Missions

SCUCC has a 45+ year tradition of having a strong Missions Outreach program. We have an active Missions Committee who provides the congregation with a variety of opportunities for reaching out to others.
Each November and December SCUCC adopts several families through Vista Del Camino. The generosity is overflowing, and each family receives plenty of gifts and food thanks to the generous hearts of our members.
In 2007 we set aside a space at the church for an ongoing WHEAT Boutique that was open and staffed by volunteers at specified times during November and December. This boutique benefited fair trade in third world counties, and 90% of the money paid for the items was sent back to the artisans. We continue to support this in the weeks before each Christmas.
